The Prodigy P2 brake controller # 90885 will include a wire pigtail that you will use to hard wire the unit to your 2010 Chevrolet Silverado. The pigtail has four wires: red, blue, black, and white. You will need to find the bundled factory pigtail below the dash, and connect the brake controller wires accordingly.
The functions and connections for these four wires would go as follows.
White: Ground, attached to the black wire in the bundle under your dash.
Black: 12v lead, attached to the red wire.
Blue: Electric brakes, attached to the dark blue wire.
Red: Stoplight switch, attached to the light blue wire.
