Convert-A-Ball Gooseneck Fifth Wheel Adapter Pin Box and Fifth Wheel Trailer Compatibility

Question:

I am currently looking at the following link for a 5th wheel to gooseneck coversion kit. Will this fit ANY RV? I have a 2008 Gulfstream Canyon Trail with the current PinBox set up. Will this work for me? Pinbox Model:LIPP1621 Pinbox Rating: 15,500 lbs CCSA: Z240.1.2-M99

The Convert-A-Ball 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter # CAB-C5G will work with your 2008 Gulfstream Canyon Trail and OEM 1621 pin box set up as long as you don't have the Elite Series or an OEM under bed gooseneck hitch in your tow vehicle. Make sure to back up your truck under the trailer and measure from the top of the ball in the truck bed to the base of the pin box on the trailer as well. If this measurement is between 12" - 16" then you're all set. The direct replacement for a worn out Lippert 1621 pin box is part # LC1191191 by the way.

If you have an Elite Series or an OEM under bed gooseneck hitch, then you would use the Ranch Hitch Universal 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter # AM3100.
