Hitch Mounted Bike Carrier Recommendation For Two Heavy Cruiser Bikes On Jeep Wrangler
Question:
This has a 35lb per bike weight limit for 4 bikes. Could I hang a 50lb cruiser and a 40 lb cruiser to this ? Or is there a better option for a jeep wrangler?

I recommend the Saris Freedom SuperClamp 2 Bike Platform Rack, part # SA4025F for the back of your Wrangler.
This platform bike carrier will work with 1-1/4 and 2-inch trailer hitch receivers. With a platform-style carrier it is easier to load and unload heavier bikes like the cruisers you said you want to use. It has a weight capacity of 60-lbs per bike which will work with the bikes you said you wish to carry. It will work with bikes that have a wheelbase up to 48 inches and tires up to 5-inches wide.
Another option for two heavier bikes like yours is the Thule EasyFold XT Bike Platform Rack, part # TH903202. This has a capacity of 65-lbs per bike and attaches to the frame of the bikes versus the wheel-mount Saris Freedom bike carrier. This bike carrier has a tilting feature even with the bikes loaded for easy rear cargo access.
The Thule Hitching Post Pro, part # TH934XTR you asked about has a weight limit of 35-lbs per bike and that is so the 140 total lbs can be spread over the length of the bike. It does not allow heavier bikes to be carried in 2 of the bike positions.
