Recommended Slide-Out Stabilizer for 2014 Forest River Georgetown XL on 2013 F-53 Frame

Question:

I have a 2014 Forest River on a 2013 F53 chassis. On the rear is there a longer bumper replacement other then the SSR-186-54? I am on the 24 K frame, and dont want the max, but I want to get more control on side to side when the slides are out.

Thank you for the photo of your Class A Georgetown XL which is built on the 2013 Ford F-53 chassis.

If you are looking for more stability in your slide-outs when you are stationary at your campsite then instead of changing out your jounce bumpers to one of the SuperSprings kits like # SSR-183-54-1 I suggest using a slide-out stabilizer.

Slide-out stabilizers will give you the more solid feel you're looking for without altering the RV's ride quality on the road. We offer these in sets of 2 in various height ranges. The Ultra-Fab # UF19-960003 supports can be adjusted from 26" to 47" and are rated for 1400 pounds each.

The Ultra-Fab # UF19-960001 supports can be adjusted from 16" to 28" and are rated to support 1400 pounds each.

These supports keep your camper in tip-top shape. Extendable struts work in tandem to keep your slide out level and to prevent sagging and damage to your RV's extension tubes. Quick-release handles make mounting a snap.
