Thule Rack or Rola Cargo Basket Comparison for 2017 Jaguar F-Pace

Question:

I have a 2017 Jaguar F-Pace with Jaguar cross bars attached to roof rails. I am consider either the Thule rack/basket or the Rhino - Rack. Are they similar quality? And do either come with extension, and if yes, what cost for extensions. If you think something else would be more appropriate, please let me know what you might you suggest and what the cost would be. I need something by end of next week. Thanks.

For the money it's tough to beat the Thule cargo basket part # TH859XT which will fit your crossbars as long as they are spread between 20 inches and 37 inches apart. You can add the 20 inch extension, in part # TH8591XT and keep the same range of crossbar spreads. This roof basket offers an optional lock to secure the basket to the crossbars in part # TH450400. It also comes with Thule limited lifetime warranty.

Where the Rhino Rack part # RMCB also does a great job fitting a variety of crossbar spreads, the size of the bars has some limits. The bars can be up to 3-1/2 inches wide and then the spread can be between 21 and 30 inches apart it will fit. The longer version of this basket is the part # RMCB02, and with the extension there has a crossbar range of 25-1/2 inches to 43 inches.

I recommend the Thule # TH859XT. It fits a wider range of setups and you can't beat the lifetime warranty and optional locks.
