Best way to Inflate a Trailair Flex Air 5th Wheel Pin Box Air Bag
Question:
Do you add air to the air bag with the fifth wheel attached to the tow vehicle and loaded or unhooked and not under load - no weight on it?

Expert Reply:
The Trailair Flex Air 5th Wheel Pin Box # LC328492 air bag should be inflated after it has been mounted on your trailer and attached to your 5th wheel hitch in the bed of your truck. Once you have it set-up you'll need to inflate the air bag until the outer cylinder of the shock rises high enough to completely expose the yellow inflation indicator sticker. Inflating the air bag while the trailer is loaded or unloaded will not have a significant impact either way. Please check out the attached product demo video as well
