Kayak Carrier and SUP Carrier Recommendation for 2016 Ford Focus
Question:
Hi, i have a 2016 Ford focus hatchback with Thule aero bars ae53. I need to carry my fiberglass touring kayak about 85 pounds and one or two SUP at the same time. My wife dont let me place the kayak in top of the SUP. What rack or racks so you recommend ?

To maximize your crossbar space you are going to want to use a J-style kayak carrier like the Rhino Rack J Carrier part # S510 since it's basically the only carrier with a high enough capacity at 99 lbs.
The Thule SUP Taxi part # TH810001 would work great for carrying up to 2 paddleboards as well.
You will need to verify that your roof rack has the weight capacity for everything you are planning on transporting.
