Im looking for a performance tuner to help me with horsepower/mpgs while pulling my 5th wheel trailer. Is this a product that can give me what I need?

All performance tuners/monitors offered for your 6.4L V8 2008 Ford F-250 turbocharged diesel are shown on the linked page, and the Edge EvoHT2 Hand-Held Performance Tuner # EP16040 is among them. According to my technical contact at Edge your engine can gain up to 80 more horsepower and up to 200-lb-ft of additional torque when you select the performance towing tune.

This tuner does not affect/disable the truck's fuel management system (which shuts down some cylinders for efficiency). In terms of mileage performance you might see a 1 or 2 mpg improvement when using the tow mode, according to my contact at Edge.

If you prefer, Edge offers tuner/monitors that can both re-tune your engine and help you improve fuel economy if you use the included Driving Coach program, which monitors your personal driving habits to alert you to ways to save fuel.
