Recommended Converter To Separate Turn Signal From Stop Lights On Trailer Wiring
Question:
I have just tested my trailer lights with my TV which is a Jeep GC. On the Jeep 7 pin I get brake signal on both LandR turn pins and when the brakes are applied the amber turn signals on the trailer glow steady. I am assuming I need the 2-3 tail light converter to separate the signal coming from the Jeep to L, R, and stop. The trailer lights have different wires for all three functions. Is this correct? It would appear that the Jeep has the signal combined and it needs to be separated for the trailer lights to work properly. Thank you for any info!

The tail light converter I recommend for you is part # C56196.
This converter will take the combined turn and brake signal from the Jeep Grand Cherokee and separate them for your trailer. You would need to run a wire for the running lights as a separate wire.
