Recommended Sidewinder Pin Box for 2006 Canyon Trail Trailer With Venture CJ20517 Pin Box

I have purchased Curt Q24 5th wheel hitch 24,000 lbs, from you. My current King Pin is PN CJ20517 on my 2006 Canyon Trail model 29RL 5th wheel trailer, Im interested in buying a sidewinder 5th wheel King Pin with Rotating turret. 19K I was looking at your ST400-SW19k Would this one work if not what ones would you recommend ? What else would I need to provide a safe pull.? thanks

The Sidewinder pin boxes we offer that are designed to replace your Venture CJ20517 are both rated for 16,000-lbs. The # ST400-SW19K is not a fit for your trailer.
I recommend the Sidewinder 5th Wheel King Pin with Rotating Turret, part # RP61450. This pin box moves the pivot point 22 inches toward the rear so you can execute sharper turns with a short-bed truck. The # RP61450 does have a 16,000-b weight capacity. I did some research and with the weight of your trailer being about 8400-lbs, the # RP61450 would be able to handle your trailer very well.
