Boat Cover Recommendation for 2002 Four Winns 180 Horizon that is Waterproof

Question:

I have a few questions... 1. Would I put on my normal boat cover and then put on the new cover or just use the new cover? 2. I read in a response that this cover is waterproof, but it doesnt explicitly say that it is in the specs. The CA20085 dryguard cover says it is waterproof and has venting. Is that cover waterproof and that much better to cost almost double? 3. I noticed there is a size below this one for boats 16-18.5 feet 98inch beam. Would that one fit better on my boat than the 17-19foot 102inch beam or should I leave a little extra room?

It really depends on what kind of cover you are mentioning. If the cover is one like the part # 052963889482 that covers everything you would not want to use it at the same time as this cover. If its a smaller cover that maybe only covers a couple sections of the boat then you could use it at the same time.

This cover is considered water resistant but is not waterproof. If that feature is important to you the DryGuard # CA20085 will be the better choice as it is totally waterproof but still has vents to allow the boat interior to dry. This would be the way to go and what I would recommend for you. Since you have the ladder mentioned previously this would be the size I would recommend.
