Is the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter Easy to Uninstall from a Trailer

Question:

We had one of these installed so our son, whose work truck had a regular gooseneck ball, could move our Montana Fifth Wheel. The son no longer has that ruck and now we need to hire someone to haul it that just has the regular hookup for pulling these trailers. Can this easily be uninstalled???

Because of the weight of the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter # CAB-C5G it is a 2-person job. Other than that removal is not difficult. You would loosen the set screws at the top of the unit so it can be released from the collar that attaches to the trailer king pin. Remember the body is heavy so be careful!

Once it is off you can set it aside and remove the collar which is also held on with 3 set screws. That is pretty much all there is to it. I have linked a video showing installation. Reverse the process for removal.
