5th Wheel Trailer Landing Gear Would Not Work on 1 Side After Being Parked But Worked After Towing

Question:

When camper and the landing gear on drivers side went down but not on passenger side. When I got home to park it it worked fine. Whats happening? Thanks for your advice.

It sounds like there is an electrical problem such as a loose or damaged wire or it could be that the battery had a low charge level and after driving for a while it charged up enough for everything to work properly.

Inspect the wiring and fix any loose connections or damaged/pinched wires that you find. Also make sure any and all ground wires are attached to clean, corrosion-free bare metal surfaces.

For the battery you could take it to a local auto parts store to have it tested to see if it is good or needs to be replaced.
