The base rail kit I recommend is part # RP30035. This is a 10-bolt installation kit that includes the rails, brackets, and hardware needed that fits your 2003 Ford 5-150 with 5-1/2 foot bed.
Then for a hitch there is only one option that will give you enough clearance to make tight turns. For that you would want the Demco Hijacker Autoslide # DM8550040. This hitch will automatically slide 22-1/2 inches when making tight turns to give you the needed clearance to make tight turns.
