Wiring in a brake controller to the Ford factory brake controller harness is going to depend on if it is the version with the pink wire or no pink wire.
If it is the version with the pink wire then the functions are as follows:
Pink to controller black for 12 volt power
Red to red for input from the brake switch
White to white for ground
Blue to blue for output to the trailer brakes
Brown is not used
If it does not have the pink wire then the functions are:
Red to controller black for 12 volt power
Light green to red for input from brake switch
White to white for ground
Dark blue to blue for output to the trailer brakes
Brown is not used
