Availability of Longer Shank for Fastway Weight Distribution System
Question:
1999 Ford F250, towing 6000 lb camper trailer tongue weight of 420 lbs can I substitute the shank with a longer on to clear the tail gate of the truck and one with more drop?

The Curt # C17122 which is 16 inches long and has a maximum rise of 11-3/4 inches or drop of 7-1/2 inches. The shank has 3/4 inch diameter holes that are 1-1/4 inches apart on center which means it would work well with your Fastway # FA94-00-0800 setup.
