Im looking for a roof mount single mountain bike carrier to fit on factory racks for 2016 Audi Q5 that will give me rear hatch clearance. Any suggestions???

Hatch clearance with a bike loaded on your roof depends mostly on the bike itself, its design and size. Roof-mount bike carriers can be mounted facing forward or rearward and this too can certainly alter the amount of hatch clearance.

If hatch clearance is a concern then a fork-mount rack like the Thule FastRide # TH95JV that can be mounted facing rearward may be your best bet. With the bike's front tire removed (and the bike facing to the rear) you may have the best chance for complete hatch opening without interference.
