Question:
Which wiring adapter do need for connecting a 47294 Agility brake controller to a 2010 Laramie Dodge RAM Pickup with a 7 pin trailer connector pre-installed? Am I correct in understanding that it is the GM model?

The correct wiring adapter you will need for your 2010 Laramie Dodge Ram Pickup with 7-way pre-installed is the Universal Brake Control Wiring Adapter, Dodge Ram, part # 3021-S, which fits 2010 Dodge Ram with factory 7-way.
You will plug the connector of part # 3021-S into the port under the dash of your 2010 Dodge Ram, and the other end with the 4 wires will be wired to the wires coming out of the brake controller using butt connectors, part # 05732-2.
The connector you referenced, Hopkins Plug-in Simple Brake Wiring Adapter, part # HM47755, is the connector that Dodge currently uses for older models. Part # HM47755 looks the same as the Ford Connector, part # HM47715, but is pinned differently. The brake controller port for the 2010 model year Dodge Ram is different than the 2009 and previous years.
I have linked instructions for the Hopkins Agility Electric Brake Controller, part # HM47294.
