Gooseneck Hitch and Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for 2010 Ford F-150 5-1/2 ft Bed
Question:
Hi there, I have a 2010 Ford F-150. It is an FX4 model with 4x4. It has a Supercrew cab and a short bed 56. It has a36 gallon fuel tank instead of 26 gallon. I want to tow a gooseneck trailer. Can you recommend a few combinations of gooseneck hitch and ball and rear suspension enhancement that work together for my truck? Id like a removable or flip-over ball, but dont want a hitch that requires levers in the wheel well Ive got wheel well covers. I prefer to err on the side of spending more and not modifying things. Thanks for any help you can lend! Best,

For a gooseneck hitch setup for your 2010 Ford F-150 5-1/2 foot bed that does not require activating any levers in the truck bed the Draw Tite hitch part # 6300-4437 would be the hitch to get. The ball doesn't flip over though. It would just remove all together. The release handle is on top of the plate though.
The Timbren systems mount on the bottom of the frame rail and will not interfere with fifth wheel frame brackets. For that you would need one of the following based on how your truck is set up:
4WD non SVT - # TFR1504D
2WD non SVT - # TFR1502D
4WD SVT - # TFR1504R
