Replacement 7-Way Recommendation for 2008 Chevy Tahoe

Question:

Hello, the 7 plug female end vehicle, to replace it, is the a plug on the end of the new wires that comes with the new plug that simply plugs into my exciting wires on the Tahoe? Thank you,

There is an easier solution for your 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe. You can use the OEM Style 7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Connectors for Ford and GM Trucks, item # HM40975, to install a 7-Way and 4-Way connector at the back of your vehicle. The connection point is located above the spare tire and simply plugs in to the HM40975. The mounting bracket is also included with this item, and the existing connector just plugs into the rear of the trailer connector.

You would not need to hardwire in a 7-way.
