Are L44643 Trailer bearings the Same as L44643 Bearings on a Zero Turn Mower Pivot Shaft
Question:
I have a zero turn more that has pivot bearings for the front wheels with the # L44643 C12 on it. It is a RTK bearing. Just wondering if this is the same bearing as your BK1-100 bearing kit? Of course my pivot is a vertical shaft. If so, how tight does the nut need to be? Thanks for any info.

Expert Reply:
Bearings have industry standard numbers so the L44643 bearings in kit # BK1-100 will work for you. If you just want the bearings order 2 of # L44643. Given the application I would not be able to tell you the torque value of the nut. But someone in the engineering department at the mower manufacturer should be able to tell you.
