Will Reese Shank part # RP3344 Replace Shank Part # RP54970 and Do 7 inches of Drop
Question:
Im setting up a weight distributing hitch. I have a Reese RP54970 shank, but I need an additional 7 inches of drop. Will Reese RP3344 get me where I need to be? If not, what do you suggest? The trailer has torsional axles, no equalizers, so I want it to tow level. Thank you.

Yes, the shank part # RP3344 that you referenced will work as a replacement for the shank part # RP54970 that you have and would allow you to have around a 7 inch drop like what you would need.
