We actually do have several snow tire chain options for your 2008 Mazda 6 and 215/50-17 tires. I have included a link to the available options below. On the product page for each of the chains, you can scroll down near the end of the page to see a list of tire sizes the chains will fit to verify whether or not your tire size is represented.
It is also a good idea to follow the specifications in the owners manual for your vehicle. If it states tire chains are not to be used, there could be a clearance issue or performance issue that prohibits chain use. A Mazda dealer would have more information as to why chains cannot be used and if there is an alternative.
