2-Bike Platform Bike Rack that Tilts and Folds for a 2012 Nissan Murano

There are some great 2-bike platform racks that will tilt and fold that you can use with your 2012 Nissan Murano. The trick is to find one that will clear the rear bumper when the rack is folded up. On the trailer hitches that we have installed on the 2012 Murano the distance from the center of the pin hole back to clear the rear bumper was approximately 5 inches. You will want to take this measurement on your vehicle to see if it is the same.
The Kuat Sherpa # SH22G measures 9 inches to the nearest part of the rack when folded making it one of the best options for your 2012 Nissan Murano. I have linked a video review of this rack for you.
The Kuat NV, # NV22G, measures 7 inches to the nearest part of the rack when folded so if your measurement is less then this is an excellent option. I have linked a video showing the rack on a 2011 Murano which will be similar to your 2012.
Yakima has a similar rack that also has a 7 inch clearance measurement when folded. It is the HoldUp, # Y02443. I have linked a video of it on a 2011 Murano as well.
