Roof Rack and Kayak Carrier Recommendation for 2004 Volkswagen Jetta Wagon

Question:

Hi ETrailer, I wanted to make sure that the ,SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack - Raised Side Rails - Square Crossbars - Steel - 47inch Long, would fit on a 2004 VW Jetta Wagon? Your Website says that it does and I want to make absolute sure that it does prior to purchasing it. Also will he hold two Kiaks with J holders? Thanks, Part Numbers: SR1098

The Sportrack Roof Rack part # SR1098 is a confirmed fit for the raised rails of your 2004 Volkswagen Jetta Wagon. This is a semi-custom rack that will technically fit and work but it may not provide you the best fit since it's designed to fit as many vehicles as possible.

A better solution would be the INNO Square Bar rack part # INB117 and # INFR which is a custom fit rack for your vehicle and has a very similar price.

For J-style kayak carriers we have the Thule Hull a Port part # TH834 that will fit these bars and work well for carrying each of your kayaks.
