Where Does RV Ladder LA-401 Have to Attach to
Question:
I have a 2014 Winnebago Trend 23L. I want to put an exterior ladder on it. Can I go right into the plywood or do I need to find studs/supports?

We strongly recommend you connect RV ladders to a bulk head or other structural support for the RV. Attaching it to just wood would make it somewhat dangerous to use and not what we can recommend.
If you are uncertain if your RV has backing installed, you should contact your RV manufacture to confirm. It is unsafe to use a ladder that is not connected to the RVs backing or sub frame
