Towing a 5th Wheel Trailer with a B&W Gooseneck Hitch in a 2009 Ford F-250 Short Bed
Question:
I have a F250 Super Duty, 6 foot bed, with a BandW turn over ball installed. Considering buying a 5th wheel dry weight of 11,500lbs. I dont want to go over 13,500lbs fully loaded. Does BandW make an air ride hitch? Thought I might buy a companion with slider. Should I buy an air ride coupler? Suggestions?

Since you have a short bed 2009 Ford F-250 and the B&W Turnover Ball gooseneck hitch the best option is the Companion like you mentioned, # BWRVK3400.
B&W does not have an air ride hitch. You might be able to put a cushioned pin box on the trailer though. I would need to know the manufacturer and the model of the pin box itself to determine if any cushioned pin boxes will fit. This information is usually located on a plate or sticker on the pin box.
While you do not have to have cushioned pin box it will improve the ride quality.
