Long Weight Distribution Shank Recommendation for a 6 inch Drop
Question:
I need at least the 6inch that the 90-02-4300 shank has, but I am longer for a longer shank so my tailgate will open. Is there an option for a longer shank with at least the same 6inch ? Will another brand fit into the equalizer hitch head? Thanks!

We have just what you would need. The Curt weight distribution shank part # C17122 can do up to 7 inches of drop, is compatible with Equalizer weight distribution systems and has an overall length of 18 inches from the center of it's vertical adjustment holes to the very end of the shank.
