Bike Rack Recommendation for Roof of 2013 Subaru Impreza to Carry 3 Bikes
Question:
Hi - I would like to transport 3 bikes on the roof. Is that too many. Also, one of the bikes has disk brakes. Could you please tell me what you suggest? Im not sure if I should purchase 3 or do I need a double one and a single? Thanks from a confused consumer.

Carrying 3 bikes on the roof of your 2013 Subaru Impreza is definitely possible. All you would really need to check first is the roof capacity of your vehicle in the owners manual. You would need to be sure that the weight of the bikes and racks does not exceed this figure.
If you were wanting a wheel mounted bike rack the Yakima FrontLoader part # Y02103 is a confirmed fit that would work well. This rack weighs 18 lbs and is disc brake compatible.
For a fork mounted option we have the ForkLift part # Y02098 which is also a confirmed fit and disc brake compatible. This rack weighs 9 lbs.
To help get the bikes to fit properly you may have to stagger the directions of the bikes/racks so that the handlebars don't interfere.
