Which B and W Companion Hitch is Recommended for a 2013 Ram 2500 Mega Cab 6 ft Bed

Hello there, I currently have the BandW turnover ball on my truck. Im looking for a 5th wheel companion. However do I need a slide or can I get away with a standard companion? From what I heard from BandW the companion can be assembled with about 6-7inch adjustment behind the King Pin for additional clearance. As well the mounting post can be installed in two positions, and the 2nd is to compensate for in front of the axle applications Its adjusted to the center since the turnover ball is located in front of the axle Thank you,

You are going to want the slider version of the Companion Hitch part # BWRVK3400 unless your trailer happens to have a narrow nose designed for allowing short bed trucks turning clearance without a slider. You would know if your trailer had this too.

Sometimes in rare situations if the truck bed is 6-1/2 feet long you can get away without a slider, but not if the bed is 6 feet.
