Width of the Saris Freedom Superclamp 2 EX SA4025F For Fitting In Trunk

Hi, Im trying to find out the dimensions of the bar of the Saris Superclamp 2. I just got rear ended which resulted in a total loss of my old bike rack, so I would prefer not to leave the bike rack installed on my car when not in use. The Supercalmp is lighter than my older rack, so weight is not going to be an issue, but I have no idea if it fits into the trunk of my car I have a 2014 Mazda CX-5. Im ok with taking the outmost wheel holders off when I put it in my trunk, so its just the metal bar length that I need. Also, the wheel holders - are they metal or plastic? Any information would be helpful.

I spoke with my contact at Saris and he informed me that the Saris Freedom part # SA4025F that you referenced measures 48 inches in width on the main support beam of the rack.

The wheel holders are plastic.
