We do not have any custom-fit power steering coolers for your 1996 Ford Contour, but if you could provide the diameter and style of your inlets, as well as how much room you have to mount the cooler, I would be better able to make a suggestion for you.
The choice of a power steering cooler is going to depend on how much room you have near the power steering pump, and also how much airflow you can get into that area in order to assist the cooler in lowering the temperatures of your power steering fluid. Normally, the power steering coolers would be mounted in front of the radiator. I would recommend measuring how much room is available in front of the radiator and then choosing a cooler that will fit into this area.
A Dyno-Cool Tube-Fin style power steering cooler like the # D12200 would be a good choice, as the fins provide a good amount of surface area into which the heat can be distributed, effectively allowing the heat from the fluid to be exchanged and move out into the surrounding air.
