Replacement Longer Shank for Fastway Weight Distribution System
Question:
I have Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control - Trunnion dont which one. Is there a way to tell. Ive changed vehicles, and the tail gate now rests/hits the jack. Not enough clearance probably only 3-4 inches. Can I use a hitch extender with my wdh or do i need to buy a new /longer shaft. Thanks.

Your best bet for gaining clearance between your new truck's tailgate and your weight distribution system is to use a longer shank instead of a hitch extender. We offer the 18-inch Equal-i-zer shanks # EQ90-02-4500 and # EQ90-02-4600, both of which are 6-inches longer than the stock shank. Please note that these offer different amounts of rise or drop.
