Tire Recommendation for Trailer to Replace 205/75R14 Tires
Question:
I have a travel trailer with 5500 lb. Dry weight. I have 205/75/14 tires on it, but want to go to an f or e series tires. I need to know speed rating and total weight capacity of the tires. Just had three blowouts on factory tires on coachman freedom express 33foot long.

Typically for trailer tires I recommend the Taskmaster brand because they have higher speed ratings than most trailer tires at 81 mph compared to 65 mph like most brands.
For that the part # TR20514 would be a great option. It has a weight capacity of 1,760-lb max load at 50 psi. Which if you trailer is a tandem axle trailer this would be your best option. Be sure to keep tire inflated to it's max PSI rating to ensure full capacity and prevent heat build up.
