Can Weight Distribution System be Backed Up with Spring Bars Installed

Question:

Im looking at a weight distribution hitch. Is there need to remove the bars from the boy on before backing up? I understand that with sway control bar you have to remove it. Is there anything else you have to remove on just the weight distribution hitch it self.

With a weight distribution system you can back up straight with the bars installed, but if you are going to get into a tight, jackknife like situation you have to disconnect the spring bars as they aren't designed to turn very far in the head of the system. If you leave them in they will fall out or break something.
