The Curt # E-3S bumper hitch is a universal application, so it does not have vehicle specific fits. This hitch would mount using four holes, two that would use 3/4 inch diameter bolts, and two that use 1/2 inch diameter bolts.

You will need to measure to determine if the # E-3S hitch will work on your 2007 Dodge Ram 1500. The 3/4 inch holes are 8-3/4 inches apart, from center to center, and the 1/2 inch holes are 6-1/6 inches apart from center to center. These holes would need to be drilled if not present.

You would also have the option of installing a custom-fit hitch like part # C15409, which is rated to tow up to 17,000lbs.

To wire your truck for towing, you would use hardwire kit # 119178KIT if it did not come with a factory tow package. Models with the tow package would use wiring harness # 118381.
