Do Edge Programmers Help Vehicles That Constantly Up and Down Shift

Will your tuner correct incorrect shifts downshift from 4th about 55 mph acts like it shifts back and forth from 3_4 accelerated it will stay in 4 seems to do it if its lugging

Programmers like our part # EP59YR can help firm up shifts and the added power allows most vehicles to not need to be constantly downshifting on hilly roads. But if your truck is hunting for the right gear without a load on it or on flat roads at that speed that's most likely a sensor problem in the transmission.
The programmers we carry don't have the ability to correct that type of problem.
