I checked with my contact at HWT, and the # AM20516 aluminum trailer wheel would be rated up to 2,830lbs. As a rule of thumb, the maximum load rating for the wheel is going to match up with the rating on the most heavy duty tire that could be used on the wheel.

In this case, it is possible to install up to a load range E tire. If you were installing a tire with a C or D load range, you would need to adhere to the tire load rating, which would be lower than that of the wheel.
