Trailer Wiring Recommendation for a 2010 Ford Edge

Question:

hello, i own a 2010 ford edge and i read the article you wrote about the wiring being different, this makes sense as it only has one bulb inside of it to do the shining, breaking and turning functions, so my question is, how do i convert it to the 2011 lights, i mean, i want to purchase the 2011 led tail lights kit but it needs to have separate bulbs, do you guys have a kit for this ? or can you point me to the right direction as to what to do with the wiring, thank you.

I have a much easier solution for installing trailer wiring on your 2010 Ford Edge that would not require you to convert your taillights to a 2011 Edge.

Instead you would want the Tow Ready Kit part # 118551 which is a custom fit harness for you vehicle. It would just plug right in line with your vehicle taillights for an easy install that would give you a 4-way.
