Brake Controller Recommendation for a 2015 Chevy Colorado
Question:
I was wondering about your tekonsha prodigy p3 trailer brake code 90195. I have a 2015 chevy colorado with trailer pkg and 7 pin connector. Does this come with the oem wires to make installation easier? If it does not. Is one available and what is the product code/number along with cost? I am military and move quite frequently and want a reliable controller for me and my family. Thanks for takeing the time to consider my questions.

If you are looking for a reliable brake controller the Prodigy P3 part # 90195 that you referenced would be a great choice. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup. This is a proportional brake controller that senses the amount of braking the tow vehicle is applying and applies a proportionate amount to the trailer brakes.
This controller installs by wiring to the four blunt cut wires under the dash of your truck. If you check out the install video you can see this controller being installed in a 2015 Chevy Colorado just like your. The wiring of the controller would be long enough to attach to your vehicle.
