Does Increasing Tire Weight Capacity Increase Overall Trailer Weight Capacity
Question:
aluminum flatbed says GVWR is 2200lbs GAWR each axle is 220lbs . Tire size is LT145/R12C/5H. Label says max load of cargo is 1520lbs. Will different tire increase max load?

Going with a tire that has more weight capacity will give you more tire capacity but the tires are only one factor in determining the overall capacity of a trailer. You also have to factor in axle rating, brake rating, frame rating, bed rating, coupler rating etc.
If your tires happened to be the weakest link in the combination then yes going with a higher rated tire will give you additional capacity.
