Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller Install in a 2011 Monaco Knight 40PBQ2
Question:
I have a 2011 Monaco Knight 40PBQ2 towing, a 2014 25’ Interstate enclosed tandem axle trailer with electric drum brakes. I would like to install the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller. I have located an un-used pigtail next to the air brake pedal. Attached photos are from the owner’s manual in regards to the Tow Plug Connection, as well as, the pigtail under the dash. Can you tell if the pigtail is what I would use to connect the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller?? Thank you

Expert Reply:
Yes, the harness you found looks to be the correct harness to use to install your Prodigy P2 brake controller part # 90885. It looks like the wires are labeled by function as well which is nice.
The red wire of the controller goes to brake light circuit, white to ground, black to 12 volt power and blue to brake output.
