Platform Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2017 Subaru Outback and Draw-Tite 2 Inch Trailer Hitch

Is the Kuat Transfer TS02G rack compatible with my 2017 Subaru Outback which will have a DrawTite 2inch hitch ? Is this a good choice for a 2 bike rack ?

When we installed Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 75673 on a 2016 Outback it measured 5-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole back to clear the rear bumper and it will be nearly identical on your 2017 Subaru Outback. The Kuat Transfer # KU74FR measures 6 inches from the pin hole to the closest part of the rack.

Based on this I would use a different rack.

For a similar bike rack that offers more clearance I recommend the Swagman Semi, # S64686. It measures 15-1/4 inches from the center of the pin hole to the closest part of the rack when down and 8 inches when folded up so it is an all-around fit!
