Recommended Adapter To Tow Fifth Wheel Trailer With Gooseneck Hitch In Truck Bed

Question:

I have a 2006 KZ Sportsman 5th wheel camper. I need to convert it to a goose neck. Which goose box do I need? I have a Leland AF 7910, CSA 18,000. Any help is greatly appreciated.

We do not have a goose box that will work with the Leland 7910 king pin on your KZ Sportsman trailer but we do have a solution.

I recommend the Demco Recon Adapter, part # DM8550045. Since it installs directly on the gooseneck ball it really gives you the best of both worlds. It lets you retain the fifth wheel king pin on your trailer while keeping the gooseneck hitch in your truck bed.
