Are K-Source Custom Towing Mirrors # LVT-2300-C Convex or Flat Glass for a 2016 Ford F-150
Question:
The standard passenger mirror on my truck has the feature that items in the mirror are closer than they appear. Do your mirrors have this also?

Expert Reply:
All vehicles now have the passenger's side mirror as a convex mirror which is why that warning is on them. The towing mirror set # LVT-2300-C uses flat glass which is the same as the driver's side stock mirror. When placed next to each other some people think that the flat glass in the towing mirror is magnifying things when actually it is the stock mirror's convex glass that is distorting the image.
I have linked a video review of these mirrors for you.
