Will Curt Titan Hitch Extender Fit a Curt Class V Hitch

I have a curt class v hitch will this 48inch extension fit in this hitch and what is the max tongue weight at 48inch my hitch can do 2700lb at the tongue I know it will be a lot less but what is max on it

The Reese Titan Hitch Extender part # RP45018 will fit your Curt Class V hitch that has a 2-1/2 inch opening.

The tongue weight capacity of the Titan Hitch Box Extension, # RP45018, is going to be 10 percent of the weight carrying rating or weight distribution rating of the extension. In this case, if the extension is used at the 41 inch extension you the limit is 500 lbs WC (750 with WD).

If used at the 48 inch extension the limit would be 400 lbs WC (600 with WD).
