The B&W Companion slider hitch # BWRVK3400 will fit your 2015 Ford F-250 short bed with the B&W gooseneck hitch already installed in it. This hitch has 12 inches of travel to account for more clearance when making turns.
To determine if the 12 extra inches is enough there are some measurements needed. Measure from the center of the gooseneck ball in the truck bed forward to the back of the truck cab. Add 12 inches for the travel of the slider hitch.
To that you will either add or subtract the distance from the center of the trailer's king pin to the front of the trailer overhang. So if the king pin is out in front of the trailer overhang you would add the distance; if it is behind the overhang you would subtract.
Then you would measure the overall width of the overhang and divide that by 2 to get half. The cab to ball measurement (plus the 12 inches and plus or minus the king to overhang measurement) must be at least 4 inches more than half the width of the trailer in order to make turns without cab interference.
