The 1500cc scooter max weight is 275 pounds The Jeep Patriot we tow is base curb weight of 3,290 max We tow using the Roadmaster Falcon 5250

I have a possible solution to transporting your Moped with your Motorhome.
First thing you will want to check is the weight capacity of your hitch on your motorhome. You will want to be sure it has the capacity to support the weight of the motorcycle carrier and the moped at the reduced weight that they adapter # D-192 requires. Any adapter like this is going to reduce your hitches capacity by 50 percent. The # D-192 will have a new capacity limit for you with 350lbs tongue weight and 3,500lbs towing.
A motorcycle carrier that is recommended for behind a Motorhome is the Ultra-Fab # UF48-979033, I have linked a video of this carrier for you to check out. This carrier weights 51lbs plug the 275lbs of weight of your moped come to approximately 326lbs. As you stated your vehicle has a base weight of 3,290lbs, both of which can work well with the adapter. As I mentioned earlier you will want to be sure that your hitch is rated for at the very least double this tongue weight capacity. If you wanted to tell me what your hitch is rated for I'd be happy to confirm for you.
The next thing you will want to do to ensure that this is a good fit for you is measure the distance from the vehicle to the Motorhome when being towed to ensure that the carrier will not come into contact with the vehicle. The Curt adapter # D-192 will extend the pin hole of the motorcycle rack out 8 inches and up 5-1/4 inches. The Ultra-Fab carrier # UF48-979033 from center of the pin hole to the outer most edge of the carrier measures 31-1/4 inches. Together this will be a total of 39-1/4 inches from the center of the Motorhome's pin hole.
If you check all your dimensions and weights and find them to be compatible with the above then this solution will work for you.
I have linked all the above mentioned products to this page for your viewing and purchasing convenience.
