Recommended Solution for Towing European Trailer with US Vehicle
Question:
Dear Sir or Maam, I was researching your website and you have a trailer connector adapter listed: Trailer Connector Adapter for Land Rover - 7-Way, Round Pin, European Style to 4-Way Flat I work for the Army in Germany and was wondering if you had the wiring adapter thats US to EU specs. Reason: I have a U.S. vehicle in Germany, but need to hook a Germany trailer to the vehicle. I have a 4-pin on my vehicle, but need to hook to either a EU 7 pin or EU 13 pin. Thank you for your help,

The best thing I can recommend you do is you would want a trailer side 7-way like part # H20042 to wire up to an EU socket found local to create an adapter to use your US spec vehicle with EU trailer wiring. I attached a chart that labels the functions of the wires on this connector for you to reference.
To gain all the function that a US 7-way carries you will also need to adapt your US 4-way into a 7-way blade to be compatible with the # H20042. For this I recommend the # ETBC7, it's going to come with everything you will need to adapt your 4-way to a 7-way.
This is going to be your best option because we do not offer any adapters for EU trailers or vehicles.
I have linked the above mentioned part to this page for your viewing and purchasing convenience.
