How Does Stromberg Carlson # VGD-94-101 Tailgate Install
Question:
How is installed?

The replacement tailgates like the # VGD-94-101 install pretty easily. Basically you would just need to remove your current tailgate. What you would need to do is lower the tailgate to about a 45 degree angle so that you can lift the tailgate off of the hinge that has a section removed from it and then you will be able to pull the other side of the tailgate off when that side is out.
You would then need to remove the safety cables and repeat the process in reverse with the Stromberg tailgate to install it. You will need to install the mounting brackets tailgate as well but they simply install with the included nuts and bolts.
